It starts with a bookingThe only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

And finally, a reviewAfter their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

It was easy to find and access, the staff were absolutely lovely, when we came downstairs for some food, we spent ages chatting with them & putting the world to rights. The food was delicious, locals were friendly and the room was so comfortable!

The room was really warm and we couldn’t open the window BUT that was a minor issue. Getting the right hot/cold balance in the shower takes a little fine tuning as the hot is VERY hot. But again, just a little tweaking and it was no issue :)

You can’t book a table so when we came down for supper we had to eat on their conference overspill room which is bleak and a bit cold. Food was ok

The shower wasn't the best when it came to the water pressure. Was able to wash and get clean but had to move the shower head around for the water to pressure to be strong enough

The stairs were very difficult for my friends who has mobility problems, and negotiating the fire door was particularly difficult. Glad we weren't in a hurry! It would have been good to know if there'd been a room with easier access available.
