      Loved everything about this quirky cottage. Its in a tucked away location yet an easy walk into the village with a good selection of pubs, restaurants and shops.The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you might need for a self catering break. The sumptuous bed made it difficult to get up in the mornings and being in such welcoming surroundings I wanted to lingerer and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the cottage. However if you can drag yourself away its well placed for exploring with plenty of beaches and attractions nearby. Don't be put off by the lack of parking, its really not a problem as there is plenty of on street parking close by.

      The low door-frames caught my husband out a couple of times, but he is 6"4 so he's used to bumping his head on things!

      Elizebeth and Dave were exceptional hosts, also informing us of local activities The accommodation provided everything we needed for our stay. Even the small courtyard was a good relaxing area, where we also lunched. Central location, quiet relaxing area, Ideal for short or long stays. Easy walk to shops and gardens.

      The building itself is beautiful and the communal areas are clean and well updated. The grounds are beautiful and well kept.

      The rooms are completely outdated. The bedding was clean which is great but the room itself was so tired and worn out. The bathroom all needed a good clean. A guest from the night before shampoo bottle was left in the bathroom and we were given no toilet paper on arrival. Luckily we were with a group of people attending a wedding who were next door to us who gave us one of theirs.

      The room was comfortable and, considering that the hotel was next to a busy motorway junction, very quiet.

      The Post Code for the hotel took me to the centre of the village. I actually drove past the hotel as my sat nav told me I still had about half a mile to go before reaching the site. Not sure if this is my sat nav or the post code, so this is only a recommendation for you to clear the misunderstanding future visitors may have.
