When driving up towards the converted barn. The views were outstanding...as was the home itself. My breath was taken away from the views of the fields with cattle grazing followed by 2 pheasants...also outside was the Hot tub, a BBQ and a large picnic bench. Inside it was equally breath taking. Very plush and spotless. Two large double rooms either end of the main open planned kitchen dining seating area also a central island with bar stalls for seating. A fully equipped modern kitchen. The beds were lovely fresh clean linen, large soft towels were also supplied along with smaller towels. The bathroom has a rain drop head also a hand held shower head set over a large bath. Parking was free and on site.

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

The house is close to the centre, in a very quiet location. The room was very clean, with a nice little sitting area outside and a beautiful bathroom. There was everything we needed (quality cosmetics, different kinds of tea, coffee, biscuits, fruit). The two hosts took care of us as if we had known each other for a long time (including a good night gin and tonic;-), they really made us feel at home. Julia cooked the best breakfasts exactly to our taste and told the funniest stories. When we go to London again, we would definitely like to stay here. We miss them already!

Beautiful interior design. Love the artwork, which was for sale. Fresh sweetpea flowers, my favourite, on arrival Lovely and cool as windows opened to let in fresh air on one of the hottest days of the summer Refreshments cooling in fridge Comfy beds

Directions to front door was a bit muddled as Google maps takes you to high street blue door

The driveway and initial impression is splendid. The position in the beautiful Dales is unquestionably brilliant. The reception and waiting staff were very lovely, welcoming and made an effort to be friendly and helpful.

The property is tired, grubby unmaintained and generally very low quality. I stupidly booked two nights for a business meeting without doing my usual research. I saw a photo of a swimming pool and due to the fab weather we are having, clicked before thinking. 😖
