  - “The place was clean and tidy. Very spacious, love the layout of this place. I liked that it had a washing machine,we didn't pack much as we planned to shop there. Very close to the beach,restaurants, our fave little cafe The Pavilion. It had everything we needed for cooking and eating. We brought our own sheets and pillow covers,it wasn't too much hassle,I love my own bed linen anyway. We had the best sleep on our beds as well.”

The host Jose went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed to settle in. We were very comfortable, beds were sublime. Being 4 minutes to the main square with pubs and restaurants made it easy to refuel after the long day. Top marks all around. Highly recommended and would stay here again!”

  - “The room was very clean and spacious and the bathroom was very large and clean . Had a lovely shower and had a good nights sleep as the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with everything you could want. We found the staff to be very helpful and they ordered a taxi for us to get to a wedding venue. We had a lovely two night stay and if we get the chance we will definitely stay again at this lovely hotel.”

The Petrion is near a very busy and noisy road, but has excellent double glazing and aircon, so the noise is not a problem. Both the front of house and the cleaning staff are incredible, really friendly, helpful, and kind. The downstairs section of the hotel is a great place to hang out and grab of coffee. The hotel is round the corner from trendy Balat, and well connected to the rest of the city through the super-efficient Fener tram stop across the road as well as the Golden Horn ferry.”
