What a wonderful stay! My friends and family stayed in this beautiful spacious house for the weekend, and we paid for all the rooms so that we could have it to ourselves. The lovely housekeeper checked in on us soon after our arrival to check that we were comfortable and happy. The house is a short 10 minute walk to the train station in a quiet area. The house had everything we needed! Very clean and we especially loved the large kitchen and lounge area. Such a pretty house! Thank you so much!

For starters the receptionist told us our room numbers in front of a number of people. This I find entirely unprofessional as I would've felt totally unsafe if I was travelling alone. When we were on the way to our room we walked through a corridor which had the whole wall ripped and stripped due to a leak. The bucket was full of water and the corridor smelt damp and you could tell nobody was looking after it or trying to repair the wall. This is extremely unhygenic and set the standard of what our rooms were going to be like. When we got into our rooms the damp smell had travelled into our room and made it unbearable to breathe. We got into bed ( which was hard as a rock)and tried to sleep but you could not ignore other people talking from their rooms and people walking past the corridors or slamming the doors because the walls were extremely thin! Yes it is a cheap hotel but basic Hygeine shouldn't cost a penny!
