  This is a very good quality hotel and though not modern has been renovated to a very high standard. The room was very comfortable and the restaurant food was first class and cooked to perfection. The staff were all courteous and helpful, all in all a great hotel with free parking.

  The recent face lift has been a great success and is impressive. Lots of space and with a nice bar area and I have to say breakfast was excellent. My room was spotless and of an excellent standard. Was value for money and I would return again..Highly Recommended.

  2nd time I've stayed. Nice cosy pub, nice rooms. Breakfast Lovely, bar food nice.

  After a drive of 6 hours ( should have only taken 4 so was a bit tired ). After paying for my bar tab , I sat down and then looked at the price, realising it seemed a lot I asked at the bar if it was right?. There was an extra pint of ale on my tab, I was on lager. The young bar manager was extremely condescending and arrogant, he said i had checked it and said it was correct which was a lie. If you set a tab up, CHECK IT. It didn't seem right with what happened and It put a real damper on my weekend.

  It was lovely and big. Comfy chairs and sofas. Location excellent.

  If owners are actually asking for improvents. You need to keep on top of those small snags (wobbly door knobs and stuck sliding doors etc) Also the few outdoor areas that there are need to be kept cleaner and clutter free.
