Very clean and modern 'large scale' conference hotel embedded in the University. The best facility/hotel in the area. Breakfast was fabulous (salmon, black pudding, fruit selections) although the ambience of the seating area was more geared towards large scale conference practicality rather than a premium/exclusive feel. Pool, sauna, steam, jacuzzi and exercise facilities were excellent. Extensive free parking included.

Seemed a bit over-priced given the conference style orientation and location. NONE of the TV or radio channels worked on the tv. Room was very warm and there was no bottled water or room safe (4* hotels normally provide both the latter).

The hotel had cancelled my altered reservation, despite me ringing the day before to say I’d be a day late! However they had made notes on their system and upgraded me by way of compensation. The upgraded room was smashing.

The carpet somehow made the place feel a bit more down at heel than it is. Access To the balcony outside the room would have been good.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable throughout! Have stayed in multiple accommodation in the area but I will be staying here in the future whenever I have early flights from Bristol

Good value hotel and clean room. The staff were friendly staff and there was a quick check in on arrival. Relatively good location for the price.

The noise from outside was very loud even when the window was shut. I also found the 'ironing rooms' a little strange. I would stay there again but just be warned if you are a light sleeper, the noise is fairly loud.

Beautiful old house that felt like a home in glorious countryside. Within easy reach of interesting fishing villages and coastline

The property is in need of renovation and maintenance work in places. One of the toilet seats was not attached at one side and potentially could make someone fall off. Mirrors in one bedroom were very dusty. Smell of gas near the cooker which we believe may come from the gas bottles was a bit worrying. Sash windows in need of releasing and general maintenance needed to allow them to open easily. Fifth bedroom smelled of damp.
