The property through out was immaculate very clean and modern it’s like you are in a 5 start hotel. Great location in the city you have shops cinema broad street on your doorstep definitely recommend. Great host very helpful.

Upon arrival the host sounded kind and friendly. The apartment is situated in a central area. Stores and restaurants are within walking distance. The rooms are large and spacious.

Om the day of arrival, hours before check-in, I got a text thar I had to transfer a deposit and submit a photo ID. This is common practice but why so late? The apartment hadn't been cleaned. One of the beds had a musky odour. The beds also were very uncomfortable. The kitchen cabinets hadn't been cleaned. It was as if someone left in a hurry. Some of the cabinets also literally fell apart. One front almost landed on my sons feet. The carpets, walls and curtains had stains all over them. The bathroom had a strong burned smell (ventilation maybe), one of them had mould on the walls. Again a dirty and stained shower curtain. As soon as we arrived we wanted to leave! We left 2 days before our check out date. We tried contacting the staff once, asking for clean sheets and more towels, they didn't respond. We paid over 200 pounds per day and expected a lot more. I would strongly advise against staying here. How they got 4 stars and so many good reviews is beyond me.

The hotel is in a great location, there’s parking right outside and it was easy to find places to eat and get where we needed to go. Staff were cheerful and efficient.

Unfortunately our room needed better sound proofing as we could hear other guests through the wall very easily and were woken up by snoring and coughing through the night. Our room was different to the one shown in the photos, it was a lot smaller than expected to the point where it was difficult to get around bed. We found the bed uncomfortable and sagging, probably needs updating, and the bedding didn’t smell clean which put us on edge. The bathroom also needs updating, the sink was too shallow and awkward with a shelf in the way. The breakfast was disappointing. It all tasted microwaved, low quality and not fresh, and the toast was burnt.

Room was not clean. Windows were filthy. There was hair all over the bathroom floor. Shower was minging. It was far too hot. Definitely not worth what I paid, stayed in better hostels for a tenner
