I loved the location, the parking, the hotel entrance, the friendliness of the staff, the room, the bed linen. toiletries and the towels. Dinner was exceptional with a great choice for vegetarians and desserts. Reasonably priced, if not on the higher end of a pub meal, but probably Lakes based pricing for the area. I was not there for breakfast I left at 08:00 and they did not serve until 08:30 which was a disappointment.

I was disappointed to learn the breakfast was only served between 08:30 - 09:30 and this was too late for me to have a proper start to the day. Most people start early in the lakes for walking and activities. But the staff were kind enough to prepare a packed breakfast for me which wasn't the ideal choice of items, but did a good enough job. Thank you.

Great place, amazing location, nice setup, with great amenities, comfortable, quiet, cozy rooms, staff kind and helpful, an overall relaxing and friendly atmosphere of a small boutique like hotel in the heart of London. Overall great experience and will definitely try to get back here next time.

Self cleaning policy: as we were happy with the idea of paying a fee to get the room fully cleaned on request and also fine to pickup towels or extra bathroom consumables, it was harder to understand, odd and a bit embarrassing the management of the garbage - living it outside the room door to be picked up by staff. There's room for improvement there and probably the vast majority of the clients wouldn't be happy to pay extra for something that is common sense. Nowadays, in race for sustainability, we tend to forget simple things. Second suggestion goes against the breakfast diversity. Food was great but when you stay there for more than a week-end it's hard to navigate throughout its predictability.

We had an evening meal on two nights, the meals were nicely presented and cooked to a high standard. The room was spacious, clean and the pillows were very clean!

The hotel appears tired and drab and is reflected in the room. No plug near to where the kettle is set up so all to move. Have recently stayed in ibis budget and to me it was a much nicer hotel than this

My mother needed the accessible room and she was concerned by the fact that the emergency pull cord is only beside the door of the bathroom, which people with mobility problems will struggle to reach if they fall beside the toilet, shower or sink, which is where falls are more likely to happen. The window in the other room doesn't close properly. Breakfast was adequate, but the chairs are very dirty and need to be recovered.
