Beautiful, well-appointed room, lovely lounge areas to chill out with a drink, very helpful and friendly staff. The grounds were beautiful , with stunning views overlooking the Usk valley. The pool and sauna area was readily available. Small but adequate. The food was very good, and reasonable.

We had to find staff a couple of times, but that was all. They were busy.

I liked that the guest house as it offered self-check in as I arrived very late (22h45) and still managed to find my room. I was also able to find fresh milk and water in downstairs fridge which were most appreciated and the room was comfortable and shower was nice and hot!

The bathroom light kept switching off even while I was inside the bathroom - seems the sensitivity/timer on the sensor of that light needs reviewing (Room 10). And I couldn't find the WiFi password in the room and so didn't use the free WiFi. It would be nice if a breakfast option could be offered in future. But these weren't big factors, I only mention them to help provide feedback.

Room clean, comfortable and well equipped. Staff friendly and efficient. Short walk to central Manchester retail district and Piccadilly railway station. Quick check in/out.

Carpet. Clean, but hard floors are more hygienic.

The location and proximity to where I was working. The room, bath, and general building were all very good.

Somebody rang the bell on my room twice at 9.30pm while I was sleeping. I was charged the price of a full English breakfast (about £40) despite only having a croissant, a cup of coffee, and two strips of bacon from the buffet. If I had not had the bacon I wouldn't have been charged. They should make it more clear. Also that's just an obscenely extortionate price for a small breakfast. The room could have done with some tissues, and the menus on the TV were QR codes which I couldn't read.
