Honestly one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! Located in the a great location (everything is walking distance) and a beautiful old building with fascinating history. As such, the rooms are quite 'heritage' with high ceilings and very spacious rooms. The self-catering kitchen facilities were fantastic and had everything you could want. I particularly loved that there were so many sitting/chill-out rooms (one with a piano, guitar and pool table!). The rooms and entire hostel were very clean. The bathrooms are within each of the dorms which I thought was a nice difference than being outside of the dorm. The security was fantastic also, with key cards used to get into the hostel and then into your own dormitory. I will definitely book again if I'm back in Glasgow. Free coffee and tea in the mornings was a really nice touch.

Everything was fantastic

Great location, close to the train station and the main attractions. We loved the fully equipped kitchen. One room had a double bed and the other two single beds. Very easy check in. All together, great stay

The parking system giving a discount was useful; although person before me struggled with the technology. Great location to visit Lincoln and Lincolnshire. Breakfast area was well set out and kept topped up.

It didn’t matter too much, but there was no smart tv. This might be something that younger people would miss!!

Location was fantastic for work purposes and to get food etc on the evening of our stay

The comfort of the room was poor, the smell of 'damp' when you entered the room was unescapable and an old heater system that made more noise every time it started, ran and stopped made the nights sleep extremely disturbed.

Charming little cottage in a beautiful village with lots of period features.

Photos were deceiving - much smaller than expected, for a family. Kitchen was quite greasy and the worktops sticky, baking tray had not been cleaned. Dishwasher stank and clearly hadn’t been run in a while. Both the duvets/blankets had odd stains on them even so they smelled clean. Toilet was a bit grubby and the shower could do with an upgrade. Tiles were all grotty and the drain didn’t clear so we had to buy drain unblocker so we could shower without flooding the bathroom! The single bed was a little uncomfortable, but we only stayed a few days so it didn’t matter too much. Quaint place, just needs a bit of a clean and photos should show accurately the size of the space.

Everything as I would expect from Novotel.

I checked in very late, so was given a roadside room on a lower floor - which was a bit noisy. Not the fault of the hotel, more the fact that my travel had been delayed.
