Loved the grounds and sitting out on the garden sofas surrounded by beautiful flowers. The access to the performance centre with the swimming lake for open water swimming and golf was fantastic. Special thanks to James on reception who was welcoming and very helpful.

The food could do with a bit of improvement, although we only had what was on offer for room service.

The staff were very friendly and super helpfull. Location was very handy. Room was clean and well designed. Although I was a single traveller I opted for a room with a sofa-bed to sit comfortably whilst watching tv after my day out - great option.

All in all, it's a really good stay. Very spacious and cosy apartment with all the amenities you could need. The arcade machine provided was great fun, and the smart TV's in every room meant could always put something to watch on.

Only very minor issues were the heating/hot water being a little bit of a pain but this was well explained by the helpful staff. Also, I believe the WiFi has some issues with DHCP leasing (i.e. it remembers too many previous guests) as I had to setup a custom IP on my phone in order to connect. I would've also liked if some shampoo/more toilet paper was provided

If you have asthma I would avoid staying here due to mould, the room we stayed in was covered in black mould, the shower curtain was covered in black mould from top to bottom, the overflow plug on the bath was covered in limescale, the window catches were broken so the windows wouldn’t close, around the window frames were mouldy and the net curtains and curtains looked like they hadn’t been washed in years, the beds were clean but uncomfortable, the windows were also badly covered in condensation which creates mould despite the window not closing. The spare pillow in the cupboard was stained, and the room could of done with more than one pillow each on the bed, I know you get what you pay for but it looks like no money has been spent on the hotel in years apart from the main reception, the whole places needs a revamp and decorating. We travelled from Peterborough so my brother could go into hospital for surgery and was very disappointed

Crossing the courtyard to get to the bathroom and bedrooms, especially in the rain. One or two minor updates/repairs needed, which would make a big difference to the comfort of one’s stay,

We saw hair on our food about 3 times. The outdoor pool is under treatment (I booked the hotel because of this. I called prior to my stay if outdoor pool is operational and they said yes so I was so disappointed when I arrived and saw that the pool was so dirty)

The air conditioning was working we only had 2 fans in the room what blow out hot air so that made it uncomfortable to sleep , we asked for a king room which we thought we was getting a king bed but turn out it was 2 single beds pushed together!! Are check in time was 3 but our room wasn’t ready until 5pm
