Had requested an early check in which was made available to us at no extra cost. The room was OK but only one bedside table and a TV of which the majority of the channels were unavailable after 9pm (was this a streaming or WIFI issue...???). Separate socket for a hairdryer but no hairdryer in the room(?)... Breakfast was OK although the coffee/hot water machine was out of order and had to rely on "large flasks" which got moved around so having coffee come out onto a tea bag was wasteful. Also had to ask twice for the hot water ones to be be refilled. Lack of bread as well.

They certainly know how to push the price up on bank holiday weekends that's for sure. Have stayed here before on a Friday night at a price of at least £30 below the price paid on this occasion and for a better quality of room as well.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, walking distance to the beach, shops and pubs. The beds were comfy and the staff were friendly. We didn’t have any trouble with noise. The room was very warm but a fan was provided. The continental breakfast was plentiful and tea, coffee and shampoo were provided in the room.

As others have said- be prepared for the stairs if you are in one of the rooms at the top and check before staying if you have mobility/health issues. The shower was either full hot or full cold and the cold sink tap wasn’t working. Not the end of the world for our short stay though.

Everything went well, from the train station we just got the number 1 bus and got off at Wellies pub then it was just a minute's walk. The instructions to get into the property and the room were simple. The room was very comfortable and just the right size for our needs

The code although simple to get into the property doesn't feel secure enough, anyone could could have watched us and remembered it easily. The shower wasn't very powerful but once the head was adjusted slightly was acceptable

Wedding at Castle and was only a 5 minute walk. Lovely room with everything you need. Tea/coffee, continental breakfast, fridge with water,milk and juice Clean and tidy room. Free WI-FI available.

Noisy, selfish people in the early hours keeping me awake. I didn't feel safe in the area because of all the drunks and what looked like prostitutes.

The cottage was very dirty. Cobwebs and dirt in the kitchen cupboards, the bathroom also needed a good clean. There was quite a lot of mould aswell. No outdoor space for the dogs, small yard to the front but the wall and gate was too low, one of our dogs got out on to the road.
