Perfect cottage for 2 people. Lovely quiet, secure location, but within a short walk from the town and beach. Has all the equipment you'll need in the kitchen. Good Wi-Fi speed. Nice patio area for those evening drinks or early morning read. Internally everything was spotlessly clean.

Location was good. Bed was comfortable bedding nice and clean. Towels very good. Breakfast was excellent. All the staff were pleasant and helpful.

The carpets in the corridors were full of holes. The curtains in the room were tattered. Bathroom floor covering was stained. Furniture was tired and worn. Stairs needed a good hoover covered in dust. Patches on the carpets were covered in duck tape. Definitely not up to our usual standard.

Three flights of stairs and could do with darker blinds or curtains I’m on crutches was very difficult but didn’t ask about a lift so my own fault

The food could be better, you could tell it was mass produced for that particular chain of pubs. In the evening we ate at the Hotel the first night but it made us decide not to eat there again. There was nothing to complain about during the meal, we just knew there must be better quality options for the same price range elsewhere in the village, which was proved to be right The breakfast was ok and reasonable when considering it was included in the room price.
