Lovely setting and in a spectacularly beautiful village with more restaurant choices than can you imagine possible. Accommodation is very spacious in terms of grounds and plenty of parking. The water features in the centre give it a nice relaxing feel too. Room was equipped but has a very student style feel to it. However I needed something close to a particular location and for ease and simplicity it ticks all the right boxes.

Rooms and hallways were a bit tired looking. Has very much the feel of a conference centre and reminded me of old accommodation blocks in my past employment.

Good location, clean spacious room with lots of nice touches such as wine, chocolates, soft drinks in fridge and bucks fizz for breakfast on our anniversary. Caroline and Nigel are very friendly hosts and make you feel welcome in their lovely home.

Location was fine for us as reasonable access for the hills we were walking. Narrow mountain roads not a problem as they were quiet and not daunting for someone used to driving them.

Could have been warned about likelihood of mice, but unfortunate episode with mouse damage to suitcase resolved amicably and to our satisfaction.

I had emailed ahead and Tommy had confirmed I could check in early. The girl at the desk acted like it was an inconvenience that I was early. All other staff were lovely. Would have been great if there was room service.

We were in a triple room , once we opened the door the disgusting smell from the room hit us. Like it was the drain in the bathroom or something ..Very bad . The room was dark and badly lit and decor was just to dark as the sunlight doesn’t get near the room. Plugs were behind a table which made plugging in chargers etc almost impossible as the plug was level with the top of the table .My second time to stay there , last time was equally as bad ! Thought I’d give it another chance . But that’s it I’ll never be back . Much nicer hotels for lot less money .

Our first room was dirty so the lady on reception move us to room 112 which only just been dec but unfortunately the bed was dirty which looked like blood fag burn on table the shower has mould round it which for how much it cost not worth the money dirty on carpets
