Stayed here before. It has been refurbished since our last visit. Beautiful room with seating area. We paid more for a larger room with a view. Some rooms are smaller with a view. Views on to the Sea Loch and mountains, over their colourful garden. Can walk in their garden and along short stretch of shoreline. Large decking area to sit out on. Meals were excellent.

Nothing to not like. You need a car as the hotel is just outside the village.

I love Mersea, I love the location of the caravan. Its brilliant, lovely and clean :-) It looks very new. I loved the shower and hot water on demand. It was brilliant as a base for a few days for me.

"Didnt like" is not the right phrase because I liked everything. It was good, but I feel perhaps it could have a basic microwave, doesn't have to be a fancy one, but something basic would have been good for me. Also I couldn't find a dust pan and brush, yes there was a vacuum, but I think a basic dust pan would be useful. Overall it was really good. Thank you, you are very lucky to own something like this. Thank you.

Great location and nice decor. Breakfast was good! Just slightly out of town to give a sense of calm - but literally a 5 min walk into the centre.

Quite noisy in our room at times from the pub garden opposite - but with all windows shut it was a lot better and didn’t continue too late into the night.

We booked a 3 night stay, arriving around 6 pm on our first evening, by 7 pm the following day I fell ill and spent the next 24 hours in bed. The hotel wasn't very helpful and told my husband he would have to take me to the hospital in Kendal. My husband packed our belongings and took me home, and I recovered after another 3 days. We have emailed the hotel but had no response even though our visit was cut short and only had one out of the 3 breakfasts we paid in advance for
