I thought the place was very clean, modern & and very comfortable, to the point where I realised I need to invest in new pillows at home!! I have a Cambridge college client at the moment who couldn't accommodate me onsite, so I found this place. Although on the outskirts of Cambridge in a huge new development, it's a nice area (reminded me of Scandi community developments - lots of green spaces, cafés etc.), and it's quick & easy to get into the centre of the city + good value for money, as central hotels are often over-priced & underwhelming. Despite my grumbles, the staff onsite were charming, and I would definitely stay here again - esp. now I've deciphered all the instructions!!

I found the booking, check-in, parking info, etc, incredibly disjointed, overly-verbose & hard to find anything useful. I had difficulty obtaining the right instructions for the right bit, and I was arriving very late at night (having informed the hotel) after working at an event in London, so taking ages to find the place itself, then scrabbling around in my inbox to find access codes etc after a 5am start was really annoying. I couldn't even find the wifi code until by chance the next morning, which turned out to be on the TV screen! Not everyone is glued to their screens, and I do think it would be even more challenging/annoying for my parents generation (in their 70s/80s), so suggest a bit more thought in simplifying things/having essentials in a more obvious/accessible place for everyone. In addition, having highlighted I was coming in late, and there being lots of rooms, I was given a room with an adjoining locked door - therefore less soundproofing - next to people with a baby. So, after taking ages to get to sleep (2am-ish), as they had their air conditioning on full blast = really noisy, I was woken up by a screaming child at 5:45am! Reception were very nice about this when I complained, but again, I feel more thought is needed in the placing of guests going forwards.

Easy access for lift to spa shops and own parking. Apartment spotless with everything you need. Bed was very comfortable. Good shower. We will definitely be back.
