Beautiful hotel and rooms. The twin room and the bathroom were quite big. The staff went above and beyond. Was not aware at the time of booking that the english breakfast would be missing pork but nevertheless the breakfast was still amazing. The chicken sausages were really nice. And the freshly made croissants and pain au chocolate were just devine.

Convenient location (next to both the train and bus station), and had very helpful and friendly members of staff who helped with directions around town and the wider Lakes areas. The hotel’s facilities were great, having both a pool, gym, sauna, and steam room. The onsite bar and restaurant was also very good, nice food and lovely staff.

The only slightly downside was that the rooms weren’t massively sound proof, so you could hear people in the corridors.

Lovely pub and hotel. We had a family meal at lunchtime and went for a walk. The countryside us stunning and the hotel ideally located. The room was cozy and we had everything we needed including tea/coffee and a homemade cookie..

Breakfast very early. Rooms a little small and needs freshening up in my opinion. Very pleasant young lady on check-in.

It’s a lovely property in a good location. The bed was comfy. The man who checked me in was very friendly.

My bedroom was like a broom cupboard with a big window. I checked in quite late and the heater wasn’t on. Single glazing (I think. I’m no window expert) so it was freezing too. The room was in the eves, so there was no wardrobe, or any hanging space for anything longer than a shirt. There was an amusing sign above the loo suggesting ‘gentlemen sit down’ for their ‘performance’……but they would actually have to. I wouldn’t have wanted to be in there for longer than a night. I’m on holiday. So were a nice crowd of Irish couples. But the bar shut at 10pm and 2 glasses of wine and 2 bags of nuts cost £30?? I’m going to check my statement when I get home because surely I made a mistake with that…….

Disappointed that there was no TV or any tea making facilities in the room and lack of wardrobe storage

Friendly staff, nice and clean. Good facilities throughout.

Needs a full length mirror in the rooms and less clutter in the wardrobes so you can actually use them.

member of staff was so horrible and nasty to us we nearly had to call tye police on him. Our room had a balcony and the door would not lock which is unsafe to stay in with 3 young children when we reported this to the small dark haired man working he got very angry and told us it shouldn't matter as we got a good price. We explained it didn't matter to which he continued to shout at us infront of our children we had to put the the couch over there door to the room safe. Would not be back..I'll fitted carpets and water stains in bathroom
