The bedroom was very well furnished with a good bathroom. Breakfast was very pleasant in the conservatory and the food was good with helpful and pleasant staff.

Location was excellent, with stunning views. We stayed with in one of the apartments which was spacious and well stocked with utilities etc.

The staff was friendly and the location is great. The lobby looks clean and welcoming. There are rooms with a nice view of the tyne bridge.

The rooms are very worn down and should have been renovated a long time ago. We slept very badly as the air conditioning in the room was very loud and could not be turned off. It was also impossible to open a window. We were woken up at 6am by the alarm clock in the room, which we had not set. Then at 7 o'clock another time from housekeeping knocking at our door. The shower was also rather disappointing as the water pressure was far too low. There is a very slow wifi network (less than 10mb/s) that you can only use after registering for the "Hilton Hornors" program or by paying them. Parking was 15£ for up to 24 hours.

Tasty breakfast, with a good selection and some lovely bacon. They have vegan sausages available too which is a massive plus.

Coffee machine wasn't working for one mornings breakfast which was a real shame as I enjoyed this. The room is a bit dark and could do with a bit of colour.
