The location for St Ives centre and the beaches is fantastic. The decor, comfortable beds, kitchen facilities etc and cleanliness were all excellent. Emma was very responsive on an initial query. Fantastic choice if you want St Ives as a destination holiday.

As first time visitors to Cornwall we were using St Ives as a base so we needed our car most days, unfortunately for us the reserved parking location at the Rugby Club wasn't a feasible option to walk to up a very steep hill, so we had to use a slightly closer public pay carpark.

Location was perfect to enjoy Albert Docks and city. The room was furthest from reception and at the back of the hotel but had a bit of a view of the water and the big wheel.

The common areas to the rooms were very hot. The air conditioning in the room was set at 19c and window due to L shaped room didnt cool the room much.

I hated the spiral staircase. Our suitcases were wider than the stairs...challenging 🤨 The showers also didn't work very well...not hot at all

The blinds on the window let the light in, in the morning. Pillows really soft. Came back to the hotel at midnight and the bar was shut, wanted some more water for the room and asked reception. The wanted me to go to my room to get the empty bottle before giving me another one.

Room was " very small" . No room for bags, but it was a jail cell to be fair.
