The sea view is well worth the extra cost as the light on the water is constantly changing. the décor of the room is interesting, not entirely to my taste, but it was very clean and comfortable. The frig was full of all sorts of goodies, some of them for breakfast, including smoked salmon and cream cheese, croissants, yogurt and fruit salad. Most of it laden with sugar , which could be a point for improvement. Bathroom quite adequate apart from the absence of anywhere to put one's toiletries. Access from outside was easy and absence of staff on site was not a problem. The cleaners came in at about 10.30 so we knew when it was time to leave! Very luxurious and comfortable.

The situation is high on a hill at the back of the town, giving lovely views, but the walk back from the waterfront is steep and not for the unfit or faint hearted. The Main Street of Tobermory is lovely, and Café Fish excellent, if pricey. the only criticism of the room was the irritating modern style of not providing a shelf in the bathroom to put one's toilet bag. On the floor next to the loo is not ideal.

Underground, secure parking was really helpful. Very clean. Staff were polite, courteous and nothing was too much trouble. Location was only a 7 min walk to Ovo Arena and Stadium. Kitchenette was well equipped with a good sized fridge and ice box. Washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and complimentary tea and coffee making bits were supplied. Good sized shower cubicle.

I do not think I could give this place justice, it’s a perfect location. Ann was absolutely amazing! The decor of the house was BEAUTIFUL and the bed was so comfortable. We had recently got engaged so it was a lovely place to stay and we will most definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone!

The warmth and friendliness of our 'host/hostess' was the perfect balance of helpful and welcoming but at the same time allowing us our 'own space' when we needed it. The breakfast was very enjoyable and the location was excellent for our needs.

The Shower was a bit complex to operate as most of the new showers seem to be . This one was a bit difficult how to work out how to turn off.

I got severe bed bug bites that can only have been from this stay. I sent an email to the hotel as the bites became apparent during the day just after checkout. Two days later I have not had a reply.
