How does it work?

  • 1

    It starts with a booking

    It starts with a booking

The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

  • 2

    Followed by a trip

    Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

  • And finally, a review

    And finally, a review

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The place was in a great location with parking that was easily accessible. Michelle was a fabulous host. The breakfast was second to none. Fresh, served good and hot and made after you have had a coffee or other selected options. We loved it and we would recommend it highly.

Squeaky floorboards in corridor outside. And because you did ask —— Why is the lighting in hotel rooms always so bad? Here, the bedside lights are obscured by the strange “winged” bedhead. No central, good light in the room. The tea and coffee making items are on a small dark shelf within a dark cupboard. There is power in the cupboard for the hot water kettle - would it have cost much more to instal a light within the space? Lovely big mirror in the bathroom! Pity you can’t get close enough to it for doing makeup as huge washbasin in the way. Tap for bath/shower impossible to read - not every guest has the 20/20 vision of a 25 year-old. Why place the stand for suitcase on the opposite side of the room to the wardrobe? Because there is no space for it by the wardrobe, of course. Maybe designers of hotel rooms should be required to stay in their rooms for a while to see how they really work.
