Lovely welcome at the reception and we were able to check in early as our room was ready. The hotel is welcoming and very clean. The rooms are comfortable and well presented with the addition of an iron which was very useful. Lovely shower. Nice smelling toiletries. The staff were all very friendly and exceptionally helpful. I cannot praise them enough. We were joining a large family party who were attending a funeral. This included several young children. Breakfast was particularly chaotic but the staff managed with efficiency and cheerfulness. I really can’t praise them enough.

Room was very nice, the bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly. John the concierge was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice. Good that they have onsite parking aswell. Location was perfect right on the docks but within walking distance to the town, bars etc

Could do with more tea, coffee, sugar in rooms sp dont need to keep asking for more. Check in could of been a bit better with more than one member of staff doing all the check ins.

We enjoyed a lot our stay at Rosehill guest house. The place is very well located, the room was spacious and very clean, the bed very confortable, and the breakfast delicious!

I imagine a few people have mentioned this.. the amount of stairs that we had to climb to get to the apartment was quite hard! Worth it for the view but not so great if you suffer with your legs.

The staff were so lovely, breakfast was prompt and room was very spacious with a great shower.

Just wish there was a couple more breakfast items such as fresh fruit, crumpets, etc. It was a clean property but just at some points needed a deep clean for example the bathroom had limescale build up in certain areas.

We arrived at 2.45 to be told room wouldn't be ready till 3, so come back then. Had bags clothes on hangers etc. No one said you can wait in bar although they did offer to take bags for us. So we said we will wait in car. We wnt back at 5 past 3 to be given our room key.

The lack of food choices. The restaurant menu was limited in option and was for a certain clientele (££) and the bar menu was limited, but also difficult to eat as the tables were so low.

Room smelled of smoke. Breakfast was OK. Poor standard of cleansiness in rooms. Great location, friendly staff. Close to shops and amenities. Room smelled of smoke so they moved me to a different room. The second room had dirty marks on most of the walls, a few cracks and holes in the walls as you come in on the right. Shower door absolutely filthy, bathroom tidy but grimy. Duvet cover didn't fit the cover, dirty mugs on the counter. Poor standard.
