Positive section of review
The hotel is just a few hundred metres from Louth town centre with ample parking. The staff were extremely friendly, and there were no reams of paperwork to complete before we received our key. We were shown to our room personally, and my wife's suitcase was carried up for her without having to be asked. Our room was clean and comfortable, perfectly adequate for our needs as it was to be a base for touring the area. We didn't eat dinner there, but our breakfasts were excellently cooked, and the chef himself came out to ensure that we were happy with the food, and to see that we had everything we needed. All in all, the staff could not have been friendlier, or more helpful. We will definitely stay there again if we return to Louth.

Warm welcome from the concierge team. Lovely room, huge and more importantly, comfortable bed, plenty of space in the room, good facilities within it. Delicious steak in the restaurant, asked for an alternative salad, which was provided. Travelling as a single lady on my own was made to feel welcome dining alone, staff were very attentive. Good breakfast, which was well priced and included orders from the kitchen if needed. I left for business meetings that day and the staff looked after my luggage for the day, ordered a taxi for me later on, nothing was too much trouble. I would certainly stay here again if I came back to Manchester

The location was fantastic to get either by bus (1 minute walk to bus station) or by the tube (3 minute walk to Kennington) to London downtown. Shopping/Tesco and food stores where nearby.

The appartement could have been a bit cleaner. The floor was a bit dusty and the dishes were not clean. We had to wash them before the first usage. WiFi was working only at the first day, when we arrived. The washing machine did not work at all. We got only one towel for each. At least some for the hand cleaning would have been great. The temperature of the shower could not really be adjusted. Our kids felt a little cold, when taking the shower. An eating room table would have been great. We had to sit at the small and low dining room table for breakfast. Good that our kids are not that tall so they could sit on the floor and easily reach the table surface. One matrace was quite old respectively used and therefor not very comfortable anymore. We strongly advise to replace that one. The other one was to my opinion very good.

What I didn't like was one of the receptionists who interrupted me before finishing my sentence. I asked if I could book in early, She then suddenly replied, we are fully booked. I said that's ok, but I've already booked in advance. Then she wanted to charge me £25, I said I will leave it. The fact that your company contacted me the night before, asking me to fill in an early check-in form. Which I said I would like to check in at 2 pm. That was the time I asked the receptionists, but she said check in was 3 pm. What was the point of sending me an early check-in form? The best thing about it was that I sat in my car watching other people, taking bags in and checking in earlier than 3 pm. I looked through the door and could see them handing them key cards and scanning cards for payment. Wasn't happy.

The smallest room we ever have had..The bathroom was also the smallest we ever have had, and it was not nice at all!! This hotel should not be at the website to booking.com!!

There was no shower in the rooms only a dirty looking bath. The rooms are ancient. I fear for the bed bugs.
