When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

This little gem was an amazing find. We stayed in the "The Nest" room. It was so fabulous. The bathroom is huge and has a bath (the best bit). The attention to detail is just outstanding. Mini gin and tonic and snacks to try. All basic amenties provided, hair dryer etc. Even an electric blanket! This house is just beautiful. Decorated very nicely. The room downstairs is for all guests, and even though we didn't get to use it, it has games and plenty of space. Ladine was so accomadting that she would make breakfast earlier for us so we could head off early. Even gave us the choice of a fry up and made fresh pot of coffee. There was so much to choose from, and sh3 even had every type of milk in the fridge. Which even hotels didn't have without asking. A must if visiting up near Bushmills.

I would say if you're a large human, you may struggle to fit in the shower. Ite quite tiny and my friend and I are small people. Opt for the bath. The internet didn't seem to work very well, but we weren't there for long enough for it to bother us, so we didn't alert the host. There was nothing we didn't like except not being able to stay longer.

Location, historical value , included breakfasts good. Beer garden location expansive and had a good feeling.

Staff were a bit casual. Asked for toilet seat to be fixed and wasn’t. Breakfast was supposed to be at 8, but on one day no-one appeared till 8:15 - no explanation, no apology.

Generally clean. Good location, with nice restaurants around.

The third bed was too small in height. If your child or 3rd visitor has a normal height it is impossible to sleep there. The room was clean in general, but in details it needs attention. The second staircase is too narrow. 24hrs before our arrival they asked for a guarantee of 100£ (refundable). Even though we book our stay 1 week earlier, they did it 24hrs before without considering if we already started our trip. The guarantee refunded 1 week later, after our email. They send entrance details just a few hrs before arrival, causing some stress during the flight. Communication is very typical, not friendly at all.

Close to Gatwick South Terminal for a 04.45 check-in.

The carpet had damp patches. The bed was far too high and the mattress far too soft. Given that the bathroom was an accessible wet room, who needs grab rails by the loo but not a stepladder to get into bed? Noise from the corridor and the aircraft went on late.

Convenient for concert venue
Negative section of review
Advertised as spa hotel, but no area to relax at poolside or relaxation room. Additional bar charges added to bill which had to be investigated before reimbursed.

Close to the Concert Venue

Design of room with open plan bedroom/bathroom. Overcharging at bar. Noise from other rooms carried.

If you are unlucky you are going to be in big trouble if you book apartments managed by Carlton Living like the experience I had. 1. Lockbox key collection took an hour to collect the key with my wife standing in the road with the luggaga for an hour, in the end got the wrong room key. Called carltonliving cutomer service 10 times to get this sorted to end up in the wrong room. Call goes to reception and somebody will call you when they have time, till then you are on roadside , in rain and darkness. 2. toilet flush did not work..nobody came to fix in 3 nights. we had to do things outside in shops. could not sleep in the room due to stink, slept in corridor ad stairs. The property refunded 25%. Booking.com. customer service was of no help to get another room, as they directed me to property manager 3. smallest room I have ever lived, no lift, narrow staircase , difficult to take big luggage. If possible dont book . Our london stay got screwed.
