The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Great location just off the main Perth to Dundee road. Ideal for quick get away to Dundee on the morning. NB - this is not a 'destination city' - its a rural location - suitable only for people arriving by car - or by bus, though the bus stop for the buses between Perth and Dundee stop on the slip road, and are about a half mile walk back in to the village.

it would have been good if the evening meals had been served beyond 8pm, but it was OK, we knew we would not arrive till around 8.45, and we phoned ahead to check.

Lovely hotel in an ideal position right in the centre of Skipton with free secure parking. The staff were lovely and the food was excellent, good breakfast and a great Sunday Roast. The room was very nice and quiet as on the third floor. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Negative section of review
There were a lot of stairs up to the third floor and due to a leg injury found it difficult with luggage. Would request a room on a lower floor if stayed again.

If you are looking for a secluded location, this is it. Absolutely gorgeous views, peaceful setting. The sheep right out the window, feeding the pigs, it's a great place to relax. Close enough to sites to go and travel.

Nothing bad to say about the property. All of the roads around it are 1 way and quite narrow, so if you are uncomfortable on those types of roads you need to make sure to be careful.

The views from the hotel were spectacular, breakfast selection was good, parking was relatively easy, location from the beach was great - walking down to the beach esplanade was a good experience, and workout!
Negative section of review
After booking the stay fairly early, the room size for a stay for one week was too small with little storage or wardrobe space for clothes and 'stuff'... for a week of exploring. No one available on reception most of the day.

Lovely quiet location, beautiful, well equipped immaculate cottage. 5 mins walk on footpath to the beach. Great friendly helpful hosts. Welcome tea/ coffee/ milk/ eggs and fresh flowers.

Small parade of shops and places to eat nearby.

It would’ve been useful to have had instructions for the washing machine, dish washer, shower and TV to hand. Fair to say we could have asked for them.
