Fantastic location, very quiet, modern, excellent well equipped kitchen including Nespresso machine and milk frother, large apartment with very comfortable beds, great storage. My friend and I loved it for our weekend away, it was only 5 mins over the bridge into town right by the river. We couldn’t have asked for more! I’d 100% stay here again. Pretty much perfect!

There was no milk which would have been appreciated, 3 clocks in the kitchen were all set to the wrong time, a few breakfast/lunch/dinner recommendations would have been helpful, and somewhere to hang our coats. The kitchen floor hadn’t been mopped too well, but apart from that it was lovely and clean! The dishwasher needs deodorising.

Position was great. Hosts were obliging and friendly. Very helpful. We had a late checking and were greeted personally. Slept in late and allowed to store our luggage whilst sight seeing. Room was great.

Truly beautiful place with lovely staff and amazing grounds. For a special occasion it is definitely a place to stay. My daughter loved the swimming pool and spa.

Great location with a Harvester restaurant opposite as well. Spacious room with a nice shower and good breakfast choices in the morning

Our room had an air conditioning unit mounted on the wall above a table. Unfortunately, at 4.45am, it started to leak water quite badly into the table, which woke us up. We had to switch off the unit and wipe down the table and move some of our belongings off it which had gotten wet. Worryingly, there was a plug socket on the wall just above the table which was covered in water. I’ve reported the unit to staff as it is a hazard should someone try to use that plug socket. This did disturb our sleep somewhat unfortunately and struggled to get back to sleep afterwards.

As all old hotels, need some TLC but they are expensive to up keep. All very clean though and very friendly staff and can’t complain.
