The staff communicated well before and after. It was a self check in but easy and seamless. The location is right on the harbour with parking available directly behind for customers only. The moment we entered it was fresh, smelt good and very clean. The room was an upgrade because of a late cancellation by a family, so we got a bigger room with the harbour view. The equipment all worked well.

There is no breakfast offered, but there are places listed and right outside the door where you can get food and coffee. It suited us, because we already had brunch booked with family in St Abb's just up the coast which is a famous beautiful little fishing village, with stunning scenery :-)

the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and met my expectations. The hotel is wonderfully situated and stepping out the front entrance and seeing and feeling thge sea air always makes me feel wonderful. The entire staff (from cleaners, reception and breakfast ladies) are always extremely friendly and helpful.

More than 100£ a night for an old room, old bed and mattress, and they didn’t make up our room once, even though we stayed three nights…

Main restaurant was Indian though limited English menu available in alternative area , wholly not a welcoming atmosphere in bar too dark and dowdy . Experience not helped by group of foul mouthed louts by reception area , Accommodation is not all hotel owned ,informed it is split between owner occupied, time share and hotel .

Heater wasn’t working in room. I was told next day the staff didn’t know how to turn it on at the back by the switch but they are going to do more training with staff.

No parking☹️. Although the website advises no parking but they do recommend 3 car parks, but not known until you check in. Would be worth listing the car parks on the reservation confirmation 😁
