Initially we were we were put in a room that was very hot, air conditioning not effective, on arrival the room had a fan and an Air purifier on in the room. These exceeded the acceptance noise rating for for our stay but on questioning them and somewhat raising a complaint we were quickly and effortlessly upgraded to a more acceptable room. The front of house were very accommodating.

Initial room as stated in previous question. Paying extra for use of Pool facilities. Only one of the 2 elevators were serviceable. Waking up in the morning to the sun shining through the end of the curtain, this could do with a modification to keep it against the wall or tuck behind something.

Very spacious room, very comfortable bed and a great bathroom. The location is spectacular. After a week staying in small hotel rooms this was such a nice break. The room although a little out of date was very spacious, clean and we were able to spread out. The bathroom was enormous and the bed and linens above expectations. So quiet!

Breakfast could've been better. Poor bread selection, overcooked eggs but I was so rested I didn't care.

The parking is an issue. We arrived when there was a football match and there was no parking although this freed up later. My main issue was that the parking needs to be paid for every day, including Sunday from 8am-8pm. There is no way to pay in advance that I could see and I missed paying at 8 am on the Sunday and went to pay at 8.40 and already had a parking fine, as did all of the other cars on the street.

We have been woken up very early by the cleaners putting loud music whilst cleaning the hotel for few hours which was resonating into our bedroom. The hotel manager wasn’t apologetic about the situation and wasn’t willing to help. His only comments were to move to another room by paying more and he also said: “we are not sleeping at normal timing than any other guests and if we are not happy, we are more than welcome to find another place”. From our experience, we have never seen a hotel where cleaners are disturbing guests, the manager is not taking responsibility to look after his guests’ comfort and well being with a lack of respect. We have been willing to find alternative solutions and the manager has reacted with unacceptable manners.
