The room was large, well furnished and comfortable. Dinner menu provided a good choice, with each course very well presented and the food was delicious. Breakfast provided a wide choice of cold and hot food which was very tasty and well presented. The staff taking orders for breakfast and dinner were very friendly and attentive. Jill, on Reception at our arrival, who also served us coffee in the afternoon and then Pre-Dinner drinks and then supervised and was hands on during Dinner, was superb. She is a first class employee and ambassador of the hotel and we hope the Macdonald Management recognises the value she brings.

The stairs from the ground to first floor have very short treads due to the curved layout of the staircase. This makes it necessary to take extra care when using.

Incredible value! The breakfast is hot fresh and extensive! I had a vegetarian breakfast and was great! Breakfast room is nice. The staff are lovely. They gave everyone an Easter egg which was so sweet. It is a few minutes wander down hill to town. Has a bar and entertainment regularly for a mature crowd.

Room was shabby with broken fixtures. Apart from the size, doesn't feel like it deserves the star rating. Furniture scuffed up, carpet has stains. Very little in the room.

To find out the cost of the use for the hot tub after booking was a big disappointment. We also communicated to the host we would be arriving late and could not find #5 and was driving around in the dark not wanting to trespass onto the neighbors land. It is not marked clearly.
