Good location near the centre & beach. Its part of a windmill complex and quirky. The owners were great, our car broke down and they were able to offer and additional night and found a local garage who could mend the car.

My room was spacious with a kitchenette, clean, high ceiling, tiny elevator that can squeeze 2 people, or 1 person and 2 bags. No need to carry the bags upstairs.

Overpriced. Smelly. It seems a tenant was cooking fish. It stunk up the place from entrance into our room. Slow, 1 nice person looking after the place. If he is out, then you wait. At checkout, there was 1 person checking in before us. We waited for 15 minutes to compete the deposit return. Property manager just want money, cares less about guests. I made a mistake clicking two nights instead of 1. To be fair the booking was not refundable. I explained that I made a mistake, and I would not be at the room except for one night. I did check out after the one night, leaving the second night a free room to book yet paid for. I tried through Booking.com and through direct messages and even when I reached the property. The worst part is when I reached the property the reception gave me an excuse that his manager said: “it was Saturday, and the banking sector was closed”. Any person with minimal IQ knows this is B.S. As you know this is up to the property managers. I have before gotten 100% refunds for a nonrefundable booking. So, the worst part is not just paying for a night that we were not there for, rather after checking out, and while on a train to Edinburgh, I got an email to return the door plastic cards otherwise it is 10 Pounds per card. Something that was never mentioned to us before.

Very comfortable room, easy check-in. Staff communicated very well. I was very unwell on the day, so the free bottles of water were a much welcomed surprise.

Stains on the sheets. Looked like they had been washed but perhaps could have been more thoroughly checked. Shower pressure was poor and temperature constantly changed.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the treatment I received during my recent attempted stay at your property. My name is Hemn, and I had booked and paid for a room at your property through Booking.com. Unfortunately, I was not able to actually stay at the property as I was not allowed to enter or gain access to the room I had paid for. Upon my arrival, I tried to gain entry by inputting the pin number provided and ringing the bell, but to no avail. I then tried to contact the mobile phone number listed on Booking.com, only to find out that it was only active until 10 pm. Despite informing the property that I would be arriving at midnight and receiving confirmation that it was okay to check in at any time, I was still denied entry. I was left stranded outside the property with no way to access my room. Even after the incident, the communication from the property was inadequate and they refused to address the issue. I am truly disappointed with the lack of professionalism and care shown by the property in handling this situation. I request a full refund for my booking and an explanation for the neglectful treatment I experienced.
