The location is very amazing it must be said, we were right next to a very old pub that had lots of life and even played some live music. we were also very close to the river, we also found that we were within 30 minutes of all major attractions which meant get around the city was easy. there were 3 beds all were good to sleep on and the apartment generally came with everything you would expect. The TV didn't have netflix but it did have amazon prime and there as a lidl 5 minutes down the road which was very useful. We would come again but felt there were some things that needed fixing first.

There was no major issues or negatives but some points to make: - The kitchen didn't have any wooden utensils or chopping board. there was also one of the drawers with a wood veneer cover is damaged - There are also 2 large glass doors which overlook the river almost like patio doors are broken. one of the handles has half come away from the door and they do not seal properly allowing in all the sounds. There are no curtains so at night anybody can look in and see you. - In the bathroom as you look at the toilet on the right there is a panel missing. The other issue was the shower head bracket, this is damaged and loose and at times looked like it would come away from the wall.

Was greeted in a very friendly and courteous manner, my room looked freshly decorated and was excellent with a very comfortable bed and very up to date toilet and shower room. I enjoyed a very good meal in the evening in the bar, I would certainly stay here again should the need arise. Many thanks to the landlords and staff.

We loved the location and the secludedness of this hotel. It's the perfect place to wake up and watch the sunrise. We also appreciate the more budget-friendly options the attic rooms provided, and the personal touches like homemade cookies and the letter to welcome us into the room.

While the budget attic rooms were good for our wallets, it was not good for taller people. I hit my head 5 times on the angled ceiling during our 2-night stay. I am 5'9". No shower. Only bathtub. It mentioned this on the booking page, so I knew it ahead of time, but still, I am more of a shower girl and would have preferred it over the tub. Be prepared to wait a long time for your food if you eat breakfast and dinner here. We spent at least 2 hours at our table every time we sat down for food. The waiter is very nice, but the hotel needs to get more people to speed up the dining process for guests. There are not many restaurant options around this side of the Skye, so unless you drive 40 minutes into Portree or stock up on food from a grocery store, eating at the hotel will most likely be your best bet. This hotel ended up feeling a little too fancy/stuffy for our liking. However, if you are a traveler who wishes to spend a lot of time at the hotel, drinking and thinking, and have nowhere to be, then this is a great place for you!

Dreadful drain smell downstairs. Not the cleanest in places, dirty carpets with dog hairs. Very creaky upstairs floorboards, not good when someone was sleeping downstairs in the sofa bed.
