Amazing location - super close to the trams and buses as well as MediaCity and Sainsbury's. Staff have all been absolutely lovely and helpful. View from the flat is great. The vast majority of noise from the trams and from other residents is blocked out. Bed is unbelievably comfy (also shoutout to the cleaner who tucks my cuddly companion in!). Super nice to be able to cook, wash my clothes, and curl up in front of the TV after a long day at work.

Couple of small marks and stains around the flat but they weren't surprising - mustn't be easy to keep rentals 100% clean and damage-free. Only thing really that was really quite dirty was the microwave but given the rest of the flat, I imagine it was simply missed and easily so.

Incredible place to stay that exceeded all of our expectations. I personally hadn't stayed at hostels before, so I was hesitant and didn't really have anything to compare it to in terms of my own experiences. The staff were the loveliest people you'll meet, the room was quirky in all the best ways, comfy and well equipped. The kitchen and communal areas were just as lovely and felt like a home away from home!

There is so many things that I can say that we loved about the property- it was beautiful, spacious, clean, comfortable and the communication before our stay was excellent! My friends and I loved it here! We already wanna come back to the property

There is literally nothing that we did not like!

We loved the Location and the room layout. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, there was everything you need to make food and a complimentary tea station. Towels, an iron etc. The host was fast to try to rectify a problem we had.

The host was lovely but was not the most forthcoming with information and obtaining the key etc. The plumbing was blocked so if we ran a tap in either the kitchen or the bathroom the shower drain overflowed into the bathroom and hall floors. We couldn't use the shower and stayed for 2 nights. When we made the host aware they did get a plumber out within a few hours however this did not fix the problem. When I made the host aware of this on checkout, I was offered nothing more than a "sorry about that". There was a lot of dust on the TV unit so the apartment hadn't been cleaned in a few weeks at least. The ceilings had damp/ mold which is probably common in older buildings. Overall the stay was ok but for £730 I would have expected a bit of a higher standard.

Allegedly I was upgraded on check-in, which surprised me considering that I’d resisted the hotel’s attempts to get me to pay for an upgrade earlier in the week. I’d asked for, and had been promised well in advance, a room on an upper floor, as far away from any lift as possible, but this was ignored. The room (137) itself was spacious and very clean, but I can only describe the bathroom as rough-around-the-edges, featuring the cheapest plastic toilet seat I’ve ever seen. Maybe it’s good that I didn’t see the original room. Check-in was a little haphazard, given the tiny temporary reception area.
