Great apartment with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The location is fantastic, walking distance to the beach, village pub and station to hop on a train into St Ives.

Nothing not to like ....

Very well located for trips to Derbyshire Peak District. Large car park, ok for visiting Sheffield, friendly and helpful staff.

It’s a pub with rooms remember, so very busy in the evening and not a great deal of comfort. Our bedroom, with balcony, overlooked the main road which would cause problems without ear plugs. Although room decor is excellent, they are on the small side. Our bed was not big enough for two restless people, so you wouldn’t want your stay for more than a couple nights, fine on your own. Cuisine is basic pub, excellent choice of drinks.

not really a 2 bed apartment, on the upside the bed was comfortable so I guess that’s what really mattered

studio with second bedroom outside flat across hall with no connection to main room. Studio flat at best, NOT an apartment. TV didn’t work, installed fire stick didn’t work either…just disappointing

We got lucky to get a bigger room and it was very comfortable

Fridge was very week and some of the furniture either needed extra scubing or it was just worn a bit more than it should

When you walk into a really bad smell hit you as you walked thru the door the smell was only in the lobby. I arrived after the 7:15pm cut off time for the pool but the girl said on desk that I come straight down I would get in I did that and was told by the same girl that no more could get in I was quite baffled as she just told me 2 min before if I came straight down I would get in

Central location

Not very 'boutique' more corporate than cosy. The décor was more business hotel than boutique hotel, totally lacking character, There was no late bar for guests wanting a drink before retiring after a long day. The only 'facilities' were a conference room. The tea and coffee making facilities amounted to 4 sachets of Nescafe and some tea bags, with 4 plastic sachets of milk. The room was really noisy, too. It would have been cheaper to stay at the Premier Inn, and no less characterful. With so many beautiful buildings around it was such a shame to be in this bland box. If you're going to call yourself a boutique hotel, have some personality in the décor, what is provided in the rooms, and the service. Just being functional isn't enough, there's no way anyone would want to chill out in these rooms, even if they had provided more than one sachet of decaf. We spent as much time out of the room as possible. It wasn't terrible, just ultra bland and not worth the money.
