Positive section of review
In a really central location with good transport links to other parts of Bristol. We had a room on the 8th floor with a fantastic view over Castle Park and looking up towards the university. The room was large and immaculately clean. The bathroom was of a good size and the shower had good water pressure and was easy to use. There was a nice sized desk and a couple of comfortable chairs in the room with and coffee table. The staff at reception and the bar were friendly and welcoming. The selection at breakfast was very good as well.

The breakfast was very generous, all great quality produce was used and cooked was made to order. The portions were rather large but you could ask for smaller/small changes and the staff tried to support as needed. There were various vegetarian options available. Room was serviced every day with fresh milk etc. provided.

You had to choose your breakfast time the day before, so if you were sleeping you needed to ensure you were up and ready to go. The tables seemed to be a bit sticky but this may have been cleaning products used. The courtyard is used by all 3 rooms so if someone is smoking outside the smell will enter into your room if the door/window is open.

It was basic but clean. Good sized bed, clean wash facilities!. Easy access any time of night to the hotel with no issues. Wasn't too loud considering it was the middle of Birmingham either! All in all good experience.

No coffee and tea facilities in the room. Would have been nice but as I said, basic facilities so not a game changer.

The hotel is in a good location and we chose it because we have been there before., lovely walks and nice terrace to sit for a drink overlooking the river etc. Good breakfast served and nice friendly staff

When we arrived we found that we had been allocated a single room by mistake and the only double they had was in the cottage by the car park which was not an ideal location as you have to go across the road to go into the hotel and if that door is not open you have to walk round to the front which in bad weather is not good. We also feel that the dinner in the restaurant is not as good as it was on our pre covid visits and next time we would go out to dinner

Loved the whole visit. Loved the ethos of the whole park, and I love the work that's going on for breeding and removing globally.

Your policies. You had no flexibility on a change of date, and, if you are going to use 'middle men', you need to get policy straight between you and people like booking.com. They couldn't have been more helpful, but was blocked at every turn by your company, even tho you said no refunds, (which we didn't want!) nowhere at the time did you say no amendments.

The property was convenient for what we wanted. We ate in the hotel three nights and felts there could be more salad on the menu.
