Perfect location, right in the centre of the village. Right opposite the Riiver Goyt and lots of good walks from the doorstep. A warm and cosy apartment. Good sleeping accommodation for 4 and a sofa bed means that up to six can stay. The kitchen is well equipped with good work surfaces. Free parking available close by. Jane was an attentive and caring host and made sure we were comfortable - a good experience.

Host not very socialable, apart from a video call for a couple of minutes ,nothing, no welcome, pack, sofa, rock hard ,very uncomfortable, and kettle in the kitchen rediculios. Idea, £25 extra if not out at required time, £25 extra if crockery left dirty.

First of a when I entered the room, the size was small, okay. The corner of the ceiling was wasnt great, either very low, and I also bumped my head. The bathroom was small. Different pictures are advertised online compared to what I was given. The bed was very uncomfortable. You can feel the metal springs poking you. But to make the whole experience even worse. The next morning, around 7am non stop people were going in n out of the corridor. The corridor door was not soft close, and it kept on banging non-stop. Also, I watched housekeeping staff leave the room doors on a locked latched, so every time they kept going in and out, the doors slamed non-stop. I had enough went down stairs at 10am to complain to the lady at the reception, explained about what was going on, on the 2nd floor I was very unhappy with my stay and I definitely wouldn't recommend or return to this hotel. Bad experience and also the pictures you see on booking.com and what I received to different things, I thought I was at the wrong hotel.

I have never been charged to leave luggage in the luggage room on checkout before, but here they charge you for each individual item no matter how small. Two small handbags are charged the same as 2 very large suitcases. It made me feel ripped off, which is not a great feeling. Also, the music in the lounge area is rather loud.
