Positive section of review
I grew up in Beverley but sadly my parents no longer live there. We wanted to stay in the midst of the town so where better. I knew of the King's Head. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even cordoning off a disabled space for us in their very small car park and told us yo do that our whole stay. I still have very good school friends in Beverley who we saw a lot and love to reminisce of 'old' times back in the 70's. And to see places I used to go.

There were only 2 little snags with the room. The plug in the bathroom sink didn't keep water in so washing was hard,and the tv signal wasn't great as there were only the standard channels decent enough to watch.

I couldn't fault a thing: the location was wonderful; the staff hard working, friendly and attentive; the hotel was clean, well equipped and confortable; food was delicious and plentiful and the pool was warm. The hotel manager even organised for us to have beautiful weather!

The apartment was brilliant. Everything you could need. Very comfortable. We stayed in 2 bedroom. One had en suite. The other bathroom was big and very nice. The kitchen was well kitted out, dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven, microwave.

Well it was advertised as City View which we didn't have, we were looking into car park, but we did watch them erecting marquee for upcoming Labour Conference. This did not detract from our stay though, it was great and will deffo stay there again.

Location by the airport is fine . No restaurant in service due to work being carried out but not told about it in advance.

No notice about the no restaurant.some lights not working, mould in the bathroom and the shower leaks in to the bathroom floor

It should be basic for any pub with accommodation, or hotel, for the room to be cleaned each day - at least rubbish emptied, used coffee cups and glasses replaced, items such as toilet rolls, bottled water etc., in room checked and replenished. This should be a matter of course, rather than guests having to ask for these things. Very little pressure in shower - no fan in bathroom.
