Evening meal was great, with a good choice and discounts for residents, or meal deals for two, which were great value. Breakfast was also generous. Staff were very friendly, efficient and willing to please. This is an old building with plenty of character and to be enjoyed as such. There is a big car park and access to the town centre is easy from the A27

No complaints. I didn't want a characterless modern box hotel, but an old fashioned one with character and maybe some minor flaws, but I was happy with everything and the room rate for two nights was cometitive.

Loved the location, staff very helpful , only stayed for one night as we were heading off to Whitby the following day. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable Had the full English breakfast, which was great , cereals, and the usual beverages were also available, Would definitely stay again if we visit this area of Yorkshire

Room was lovely, sea views and harbour views. Modern fixtures and fittings and a massive flat screen TV. Great shower too. Location was superb, right next to beach and harbour area where everything was going on.

The room was especially noisy, we could hear everything from the room next door and also from upstairs. Had to turn the TV on to drown out the noise and the TV volume kept dropping out.

We opted not to have the breakfast because it was so expensive and there are so many wonderful options so nearby. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Surprised to find the rooms external to the pub. Just round the corner in the square though, so quiet. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast very good.

I was extremely disappointed that our bedsheet were dirty.. I had to go out and buy new bed sheets and even towels. There was also grocery’s left in the cabinets from a previous guess which shows the unit was not cleaned properly.. I spent time cleaning the unit prior to settling in.

customer service was zero , room was dirty , parking area was tiny , room was tiny . when conversing with management has disgusting attitude. would never stay here again !!!
