  Got a free upgrade to a double room with a really comfortable, firm bed. It also had a small kitchenette and a decent sized bathroom with shower and toilet. The hotel was lovely and quiet, on a main road but right next to some small public gardens. Easily walkable to central Norwich. Lovely planters full of poppies in the car park, which was a nice touch. Prompt and friendly reception service, even though I arrived late. It's not the most modern or luxurious hotel, but it's good value for money - and I got a really good night's sleep.

  Dinning room was easy to find and buffet style worked well. Having asked for poached egg on white buttered toast - the toast arrived cut in half without butter, then the egg arrived (on a plate too small for the toast) - the white was not quite cooked through!

  There was a wall-light bulb missing in my room. The bar lighting was quite dark - difficult to read as your drinking. I needed instructions on use of the air conditioning - there weren't any!

  A lovely, welcoming hotel in a truly fabulous location. Very comfortable, spacious room, with lovely bathroom. We've been promising ourselves a stay at The Hunters Inn for years. We were not disappointed.
