Lovely little pod, we enjoyed our stay here more than the posh Kingshouse Hotel. Lots of tea provided as well as a fridge, microwave and utensils. So with the Co-Op just down the road it was ideal. Great location if you are passing as past of your West Highland Way adventures. Would recommend and we hope to stay again.

Little things in the room that were missing like Coffee and tea facilities, no hairdryer, no glasses in the room and only one bin which was in the bathroom. The sink also in the bathroom was too small and no room to put a toilet roll holder as there was no space between the toilet and bath in was very cramped. Also in the breakfast room in the morning we found the tea far too weak and the ladies didn’t understand when we mentioned it as they struggled with English. On the first morning one lady gave us an extra tea bag in the end, the following day at first one of the staff said no to giving me one, so when I said I’d been given one the previous morning she then gave me one.

A few things would make this place go from OK to excellent: 1. Black out blind on the window 2. Vacuum the stairs once a month - they look like they've met a vacuum in their life. First impressions count for a lot. 3. provide a bath mat 4. have a socket so that you don't have to boil the kettle on the floor because the cable is too short 5. have better pillows - they were hard and thick... I woke up with neck ache. 6. hot water in the bathroom sink tap - I ran it for ages with the tap in both directions and only cold came out. 7. Emergency lighting that's not so bright - I've stayed in many hotels, Airbnb's and never have I had such a bright green light shining in my room all night 8. Shower doors that aren't so precarious Otherwise, the studio has everything you need, it's very clean, good shower and the bed is comfy. Bring an eye mask and ear plugs. Also, it's been warm in London this week so the room (as it's on the top floor and it's an old building) was boiling even though the window was open and there's a fan. If you're a lady in your 50's avoid! Finally, I wouldn't recommend this if you're planning on bringing a large and heavy suitcase as you have to walk up a lot of stairs. Unless you're very fit. Location is brilliant.
