Friendlishy staff. Good size room. Clean .Even had a toaster (but I had no bread). Huge TV but not new enough to be able to be connect to the Internet (this, perhaps, should be a 'didn't like' comment ').

Extremely noisy. My room was directly above the pubs bar so the main TV screen in the bar was right under my bedroom. I could hear all the football matches going on at the time without actually being in the bar. The bedroom I was in also faced the main high street so it was, again, very noisy. I understand that there was a lot of municipal work going on in the main high street but, I feel, this would have been very busy anyway if this was not the case. Breakfast was supposed to have been part of the deal but I was told to go to a cafe opposite the pub because, apparently, there was a problem with the cooking facilities in the pub. This was not appropriate in my situation as I needed to visit friends quite early and the cafe opposite did not open after 8 :10. I appreciate that the owners had only been in the establishment for a short period of time but I was not at all happy with my 'experience'. Overall, I would not choose to stay at the Wheatsheaf again, if I were ever to be in the area, as it was a very noisy pub, had insufficient food facilities (even crisps etc at the bar). Not a great experience, I'm afraid. The Wheatsheaf has a lot of potential but needs to decide whether it wants to be a 'Sky' sports type bar or a serious 'hospitality' establishment. There is nothing wrong with it choosing its sporting aspirations but it needs to let its potential 'overnight ' clientele know what to expect.. I was not unhappy with my stay at the Wheatsheaf but would have chosen somewhere else if I had known, particularly, about its lack of food facilities and how noisy it would be until after closing time. I am very sorry to write about this apparent negative review of the Wheatsheaf but it's just my feelings at the time. Finally. The Internet experience in my bedroom was extremely poor. At best, I was able to manage 3.2 mbps.

Very spacious, gets a good amount of sunlight into the property, easy to find, location is perfect as supermarkets and local stores on the same road, parking available as well.

The kitchen is lacking in basic necessities such as there was no cleaning products, no kitchen roll, didn’t have knives or colanders or basic utensils you’d need to cook with. You get a flat tray 2 saucepans spatula 1 pan e.c.t hat to cut an onions using a butter knife which was slightly difficult. Would be better if there were extra pillows as the ones provided are quite thin, a hairdryer would be a nice touch and a fan as it can get as little warm and the windows open much so doesn’t allow for much airflow to get in.

The location was very nice, with many lovely cafes/restaurants/shops within walking distance. It was well connected around the city with many bus routes.

The room was clean and tidy but had a damn/dusty smell every time I walked into the room. Also, I could hear people walking by, closing the door, talking and creaking sounds from the room above. I was lucky I had earplugs.

I have been suffering for three days because of this apartment. The apartment has one bed and there are four of us. There is no parking.. and the kettle is very dirty and I could not make milk for my child from it.. There is no air conditioning.. and no Wi-Fi.. and the TV does not work without Wi-Fi. Faye... there is a problem with the water tap that makes the water leak and the annoying sound does not stop... I spent the worst three nights in my life because they deceived me... the service provider ignored my messages and blocked me on WhatsApp a quarter of an hour after I arrived after I told him that this is not the same apartment that I paid for. .. Unfortunately, the customer service at Booking was very bad.. and they did not serve me.. I spent hours with them on the phone.. and they were repeating the same thing, that the service provider ignores their calls, so they cannot solve my problem, nor transfer me to another residence, nor compensate me financially.. I will delete this Application after this unfortunate story
