The owner was really nice and welcoming , the apartment was really big and nicely decorated , it’s a lovely place to stay and in the morning the breakfast is a great selection and a nice full English , thankyou for having us !

We have stayed here a few times now and found everything great, Hence why we keep booking here when visiting our family. We like that is close to everything. Room's lovely, Hotel Clean, Staff welcoming and helpful.

We didn't like that our room had been changed! We requested a room near the lifts as my husband has a bad knee and is waiting for a replacement. On our last visit, a lovely chap on reception put it in the system and allocated our room, stating room Not to be changed. Melanie changed us and put us on the other side of the hotel room 016. Long walk and not near a lift.

The facilities were excellent which were quite evidently mainly used by non guests. The building and grounds wonderful. The staff very pleasant and helpful. A very good breakfast.

Our classic double was a tiny room. The classic expression no room to swing a cat came to mind! No real surface in bathroom for wash bags, cosmetics etc. We were very disappointed with the dinner menu. A new one just began we were told. No starters just small plates which weren’t good starters for following a main meal. We both had a small plate and a main but both very basic, lacking flavour or imagination, not what we expected from what looks like a top quality resort / hotel.

Rooms are very small considering you can get much bigger rooms in a premier inn for the same price or less. The mattress is just a thin topper and not very comfortable. The pillows are very thin. The bedding is quite rough. I wouldn’t mind if it was cheap, but when you can get a much nicer bed and room in a premier inn for less I wouldn’t stay again. You also have to pay for parking and that’s if your lucky to get a space
