Lovely Inn. Stylish decoration and furnishings, cosy atmosphere. Very old building full of character. Staff very friendly, literally nothing was too much trouble. Family bedroom had everything you need, bathroom had bath as well as a separate shower. Big car park and a large garden area with seating. Ending up joining in with Morris Dancing troupe who arrived… but that was our choice, not compulsory!

Made to feel really welcome in an extremely spacious hotel and room. The staff were brilliant, as was the food, especially the seafood direct from the fishing village below the hotel. The views from the hotel and in particular the dining room were spectacular. I would recommend this hotel to any of our friends.

The management and staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. The hotel has a very friendly atmosphere and is well located in the centre of the town. A very good carpark next top the note.

Friendly staff, room was very clean, choice of restaurants nearby and so close to the station. The room was in the basement but I didn't find the rumbles from the underground disturbing.

The twin room was small (as you can see in the pictures) but big enough for two adults.

The location close to the town centre was good. The bed was comfortable if too soft for my liking, and the bathroom was very clean.

The room was very smelly and the carpet was stained in several areas. The stale odour was so bad that I had to go and buy some air fresheners to make things bearable. The room was not very clean and there were greasy marks on the window, The immediate areas around the hotel were messy with rubbish on the ground and a general air of neglect.

Buffet breakfast adequate. Plenty to choose from. Room had a good view of the animal enclosure to the rear of the building.

Breakfast seating for two persons was in cramp areas where people were cueing for drinks. Bar drink were very expensive and they did not have any Zero alcohol beers.

It says a sea view but doesn’t say there is a children’s play park in front of the sea view. A little misleading.

The room was dirty needed a good clean bathroom was also dirty half a toilet roll and disappointing facilities in the room very old and run down a shame as it could be such a lovely place
