The house itself was clean enough and the beds were super comfortable and that’s what we needed really -a place to lay our heads after a wedding. The back garden is lovely though the patio is very uneven. The owner was responsive to messages and was happy for us to go into the house earlier than check in so we could leave our bags there and go to the wedding - that was very much appreciated.

Very old fashioned. The whole place needs upgrading. A little concerned that some of the electrical switches have signs on saying do not use. The water was cold and there were no instructions on how to get hot water -when you want a hot shower or wash in the morning this is not good. The dishwasher was very dirty and mouldy inside and it was smelly (we didn’t plan on using it but we opened it to see what it was like). There was no tea towel so we couldn’t dry our breakfast things and had to leave them on the drainer. There was only one bath towel left for us in the main bedroom and it was not very big (though I didn’t have a shower in the end as the water was cold).

have stayed here over ten times now. Ideal halfway point when driving back home to north Scotland, or driving south to the Midlands. Comfy rooms, hot shower. Easy walk to get something to eat or come from the car park

lack of car parking for the Days Inn close to it. Every years parking spaces get taken for electric cars or disabled vehicles. Means you cant have your vehicle close to the Inn. When its pouring with rain we get soaked

Very cosy and comfortable place. Great, helpful staff. When the receptionist realised how tall my partner was she gave us choice of rooms - to make sure he will comfortably fit in bed - which was very sweet of her

Staff were excellent, especially at reception when helping with storing a bicycle. Bed was very comfortable (as I had ridden 139 miles to get there so needed a firm bed!)

It has a perfect location to explore the center of Manchester. It is easily accessible by public transport. The restaurant and the bar have a good quality.

The room was noisy, we could hear all the traffic when the window was open. Otherwise the room was too warm. The hotel is a bit overpriced in our view. Although we followed the instructions and hanged up the towels, they were anyhow changed every day. The mattress of the double bed was like a waterbed. If one of us turned over, the wave would roll down to the other and wake him/her up. We would have preferred two duvets instead of one huge one.

The breakfast was excellent. Parking my car was excellent. Our room was comfortable and a good size.

Some of the staff were not very pleasant and abrupt. When we checked out there was no one behind the reception desk but a waitress from the dining room took our keys without comment, not even a goodbye. I think social interaction should be highlighted to some of the staff responsible.
