  Very welcoming staff. Quick, efficient and informative check in process. Very impressive public areas and decor which felt much higher quality than most other budget hotels I’ve stayed at. Nice touch that the room cleaning staff leave you a note saying who cleaned the room and wishing you a good stay.

  Given the emphasis on design in the public areas of the hotel the rooms themselves come across as a little unimaginative, but they were in keeping with my expectations of other budget hotels. One improvement would be the addition of a mesh curtain to provide some privacy without having to draw the curtains given the overlooking from other rooms. A proper cup rather than paper cups would also be better for tea and coffee..

  Clean and comfortable, 10 mins walk from town, perfect to get into town yet far enough away not to be bothered with crowds at night. Bed comfy, everything we needed for a weekend away

  Nothing really, slight delay in checking in due to a cleaning issue but we parked and went off into town, text the lady when we returned and she was there to greet us
