Situation great. Near the pier and on the corner of North Lane leading to the whole "Lane area " couldn't have been better. Walking distance to the Royal Pavillion and shops. Large hotel with several lounges. Terrace outside facing the sea front, where you ta Free coffee in the day. Right on the sea front. Easy walking distance to Sea Life Aquarium and the pier. Inspite of criticisms, I would go there again.

Lift tiny, and quite inadequate for large hotel and very shabby as were other parts of decoration in the hotel. Breakfast was TERRIBLE! Hard fried eggs. bacon dried up and covered with nasty "white" deposits. A breakfast menu was put on our table, avertising it as £17.95. Toaster didn't work.. Breakfast was included with our stay. Because Breakfast was so terrible, we didn't attempt other restaurant meals.

Brilliant place to stay, Everything about our stay was perfect the property was fantastic and is run by a lovely English family. Great breakfast, easy parking setup and we were also given a free room upgrade as they had a better room unoccupied during our stay. All the staff were very polite and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a classic English property to stay at whilst staying in Bath.

The cooked breakfast and dinner were good with fairly large portions and quick service (although there were hardly any other customers there!). The bedding was clean as were the bathroom facilities, although in need of refurbishment.

The hotel is in serious need of refurbishment with walls, carpets, skirting boards etc badly marked and dirty. The window in our room wouldn't shut properly which meant we couldn't shut out the noise of traffic which was quite loud and busy early morning and late at night. The hotel is situated on a busy road junction. We stayed for 3 nights and the room was only serviced once during this time meaning we had to ask for clean tea/coffee cups and additional tea and coffee sachets. There was no soap supplied in the room so we also had to ask for this. The online photos of this hotel are misleading, making it look a lot better than it actually is.

Location was great. Easy to get buses into the city centre and the tram line is a 10-15min walk away. Some very good restaurants close by and a great view over the water. Apartment was cosy and comfortable with good facilities.

We visited at the end of winter and we had lots of jackets between the family, unfortunately the apartment had no coat racks/hooks. We had young children that like to run around and the apartment has wooden flooring throughout, we were concerned that we were making a lot of noise for the neighbours below us, although we had no complaints.
