Lovely property, set in a small village just outside Bristol airport. The Annexe has a very well thought out layout with many usb sockets. All added extras eg: iron/board, hairdryer, shower gel/shampoo/conditioner, tea/coffee/sugar/sweetner/biscuits, squash and a small bottle of milk so you can make a hot drink on your arrival. Bed amazingly comfy. Great communication with the host and was very helpful with queries/requests. Parking is on the drive which gives you that better security.

The breakfast and breakfast room were a definite highlight of this journey. There were also some lovely little touches that made this place special. The folks who created it and look after it obviously care and aren't just in it for the cash (like too many other places).

Our nights weren't very quiet, but this had nothing to do with the hosts, and more to do with other guests and general creakiness of the floors.

The room had all the facilities we wanted, very friendly staff and was located in the center of Neath so all the shops and transportations were in walkable distance.

The Breakfast was good, with a wide choice of dishes. The location was ideal for my needs and the room was clean and the bedding and Towels smelt so fresh and clean.

I have a bit of a Mobility problem and did find the En suite shower cubicle a bit too small. But the Electric shower itself provided lots of Hot Water and the Power settings on the Shower head were adjustable. Parking at the property was very tight but there was plenty of road parking near the property.

The room was good. Stayed in room 4 which was quite small. Very nice bathroom, nice powerful shower. Good cocktail selection.

Unfortunately the lady who was serving on the bar made a bad first impression. Firstly I mentioned to the check in staff that I'd been to the hotel a few times before but had noticed it was under new management. Me and my friend made our way to the bar after a busy day at alton towers and leaving our town at 7am we fancied a cheeky cocktail, previously visiting there was a cocktail "the love island iced tea" it's the only place I know that sells it so had been looking forward to having one.. I asked said member of staff for the cocktail menu and noticed it was still on the menu!! Brilliant :D! Proceeded to order two of them to be told "NO ITS TUESDAY" asif to say drinking cocktails on a Tuesday is not acceptable?? She then didn't know how to make the cocktail after telling us she forced the new management to keep it on the menu as its her favourite? I found that quite strange not being able to make your favourite drink.. was just strange service overall to be honest.. I will be honest I do struggle with things like this as I am a manager of a restaurant/pub.. but if somebody was in my pub ordering drinks priced at £10 each I'd be more then happy to make them and would he disappointed in my team if they blatantly moaned about making a drink infront of a customer.. when I questioned not knowing the ingredients but being her favourite drink I got the response of "I said I like drinking them not making them" in a rude tone of voice.. not very hospitable. We would've stayed at the hotel bar/restaurant but decided to go elsewhere the night porter was lovely!! Very polite young man

Given everything in the hotel is so good, staff can do much better in terms of friendliness and be more helpful. Extra hangers or hang rails for clothes and wet towels in bathroom. Provide bedroom slippers.
