My stay was for one night, and my room was comfortable and clean. I had use of the kitchen to make tea and coffee. My host was very welcoming and friendly, and I could come and go as I pleased. I will definitely book to stay here again, and recommend it.

Facilities were questionable; no towels, 8 pieces of toilet paper for an overnight stay with 2 female adults. Bulb blown in the en-suite. TV turned on but no channels to use.

Lost my wallet and when asked if handed in at spa it was said he hadn’t had one handed in and 10 minutes later upon leaving reception he came back with it.

Beds are small doubles with very firm mattresses. Other guests having loud conversations outside the room at 12.30am. Radiators were on and could not be turned off - it was a warm weekend in May! Receptionist on arrival was busy taking a telephone booking which was fair enough but didn’t even try to acknowledge me, then once finished asked me what I wanted. First impressions do count and that wasn’t a great one!
