The entire property was absolutely immaculate and extremely clean. There was a little welcome pack left for us arriving with coffee and crisps etc. The owners were so so accommodating and made sure we felt at home from the minute we made the booking, would definitely recommend!

The hotel is situated in a nice neighbourhood, it is very close to stores as well as the underground thus getting into the city centre is pretty convenient. The check-in was fast and happened without experiencing any issues.

The room we stayed in was quite small, we expected a slightly bigger one, additionally, it seems like it is in need of renovation and a more thorough cleansing. We received a small package of essentials including shampoo and a soap bar, however, I don't think it would last for more than two days for two people. One of the biggest drawbacks of staying at this hotel was the fact that the walls are pretty thin and you can hear every footstep from outside the corridor (especially if you stay in a room near the stairs as we did - we could hear everyone climbing it up and down even during the night). Also, at our first night we were woken up by the sound of the fire alarm going off at 1 am. Fortunately, it only lasted about 1 or 2 minutes and was seemingly a false fire alarm, we still don't know the reason why it went off.

Food was ok easy to order and fast service. The from desk lady went over and above to accommodate our funeral party with twin single rooms needed . She cleared a spare unused room out for our party. Well impressed.

Staff were friendly and helpful. They now offer free bar snacks! As well as the usual tea and coffee. The balcony that accompanied with this room was also really good. Always good wifi too :)

The shower and toilet is always a little cramped, but at least the water is always hot. I would not say that there is anything else that I did not like, as this is my usual "go to" hotel when staying in London.

The staff were very friendly and gave us an upgrade to a superior room and left a bottle of Prosecco and card in our room for our anniversary which was lovely.

No lift. This was an issue for having a buggy and sleeping baby. Didn’t see this when booking despite hotel knowing I had a baby ad part of the reservation.
