The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

A clean, well equipped cottage. Rosemary, a welcoming host, was just next door if needed but gave us our privacy. I liked that we had our own bedroom and ensuite--- I'm too old for sharing !

I might be inclined to stay closer to "the action" as it's quite rural. That said, the price reflected this and of course the country views were very scenic. It's a perfect spot to relax and unwind.

Martin was a nice host accommodated our late check in responded quickly to messages and tried his best to give us advice

The apartment was not nearly as clean / tidy as described in previous reviews. There was damage on the walls & the bed sheets also had questionable stains as if they had not been changed since the previous guests. I raised this concern with Martin and he was very apologetic about the situation he was very quick to respond. We stayed over a busy Easter period so I understood things can fall through the cracks and our stay seemed to be a once off incident going off the previous reviews. Martin was very apologetic and offered us a partial refund to cover our breakfast the next morning however despite contacting him on 3 separate occasions after staying we never received our refund. On another note as a tourist from the south of Ireland with a southern Reg Car I would do your own research on this area of Belfast. We felt very unsafe, as soon as we arrived we could see people staring at us. However this was completely out of the host control.

Staff were fantastic, the location, lovely food and that medieval feeling. The peacocks are so beautiful

Inappropriate music in the dining and breakfast area. Rock and pop music that didn’t match the decor and atmosphere

The staff didn’t clean our room our whole trip and when mentioned to the receptionist she just suggested she would speak to the manager and nothing else done

Rooms are very dated, doors are very yellow, stains on the bedroom walls, pillows are rock hard, no parking which is not offered to be fair but the council car park is very expensive, food is also very expensive.£20 for fish and chips £19 for a burger, not good value at all.
